Caution fat

To avoid burns from overflowing fat or splashes of fat, always use a high pot for deep-frying and fill it no more than halfway with fat. Do not use a lid and do not overheat (maximum fat temperature 392°F / 200°C).

Attention in case of overheating!

Do not heat the cookware for more than 2 minutes empty or with fat on high energy level. If overheated, the bottom may turn golden. However, this discoloration does not affect the function. In the extreme case of overheating, the bottom may be damaged. In this case, never remove the cookware from the cooking zone to avoid burns. Switch off the cooking zone and allow the cookware to cool down.

Cooking with salt

Do not add salt to cold water, but always to boiling water and stir. Adding salt to cold water can cause an extremely high salt concentration in the bottom area, which can lead to corrosion points on the bottom. Although these changes to the stainless steel have no effect on functional and cooking properties, they are difficult or impossible to remove.
